Revoke keys if they have potentially been compromised, or if you have exceeded the active key limit that was configured by the CloudGate Key Manager administrator.
Key revocation functionality is only available to users if configured as such by the CloudGate Key Manager administrator. Contact your administrator if you are unable to revoke a key yourself.
To create a new key:
- Log in to CloudGate Key Manager if you are not already logged in.
- In the Dashboard, click the View available keys button.
- In the Available keys dialog, click the Revoke button next to the description of the key you want to revoke.
The key's status will change from Active to Revoked.
