Create keys to be able to perform SSH logins to server instances managed by CloudGate Key Manager.
To create a new key:
- Log in to CloudGate Key Manager if you are not already logged in.
- In the Dashboard, click the Create new key button.
- If your administrator has determined that keys need to be protected with a passphrase, enter the passphrase you would like to use in the Create new key dialog.
A generated private key file named
cgkm.key
is now downloaded to your downloads folder, and you are presented with the
Key information dialog which displays detailed information about the key.
CAUTION:
An error message will be displayed in case you have exceeded the active key limit set by the
CloudGate Key Manager administrator. In this case, you will first have to
revoke an existing key before you can create a new one.
