CloudGate Key Manager maintains detailed logs of the SSH logins to instances that are managed by CloudGate Key Manager, and of the operations that are performed by administrators, users, external systems and CloudGate Key Manager itself.
Access logs
Whenever a user attempts to perform an SSH login on a server instance that is managed by CloudGate Key Manager, an entry is added to the access log. This allows administrators to keep track of which instances their users are accessing, and can aid in the investigation of irregularities.
Operation logs
Whenever a user or administrator creates, modifies or deletes data in CloudGate Key Manager, and entry is added to the operation log. This allows administrator to keep track of changes in policies, environments, and so on.
Provisioning logs
Whenever an external system or CloudGate Key Manager itself creates, modifies or deletes data in CloudGate Key Manager, and entry is added to the provisioning log. This allows administrators to keep track of user, group, organizational unit, and instance provisioning, and can aid in the detection and resolution of integration problems.
