Name/ID |
The instance's name or ID If the instance is hosted by a cloud service provider, this corresponds to the instance identifier as it is known by the cloud service provider. When instance information is retrieved from the cloud service provider, CloudGate Key Manager will automatically update instances with corresponding names/IDs. When creating a new instance in a manually managed environment with linked cloud accounts, the Name/ID field has autocomplete functionality that presents a list of instances that are available in the linked cloud accounts. Selecting an instance from this list will also automatically fill out the other fields in this screen.
Note: The instance's name/ID cannot be changed after the instance has been created.

Display name |
The instance's display name This is the name that will be used throughout the application to refer to the instance. |
Type |
The instance's type If the instance is hosted by a cloud service provider, this corresponds to the instance type as it is known by the cloud service provider. |
Location |
The instance's location If the instance is hosted by a cloud service provider, this corresponds to the instance location as it is known by the cloud service provider. |
Tags |
The instance's tags or labels, a collection of name/value pairs that can be used to further classify instances If the instance is hosted by a cloud service provider, these correspond to the instance's tags or labels as they are known by the cloud service provider. |
