Create new instances to make server instances accessible through CloudGate Key Manager in manually managed environments.
Note: Instances cannot be added to automatically managed environments using the steps below. Instead, they need to be added by tagging the instance with a specific management tag and its corresponding value as defined in the environment.
To create a new instance:
- Log in to CloudGate Key Manager Admin if you are not already logged in.
- Select an existing environment as outlined in Viewing an environment.
- Click the Add instance button at the bottom of the Instances section.
You are now presented with the
Instance screen. From here, you can continue to
edit the instance's settings.
